Princeton, NJ, Nov 28, 2016 - NIKSUN® Inc., the world leader in developing real-time and forensics-based cyber security and network performance monitoring solutions, announced today that NIKSUN NikOS Everest (5.0) and a number of key NIKSUN products such as Supreme Eagle, NetDetector, and NetOmni have been placed on the Department of Defense (DoD) Unified Capabilities (UC) Approved Products List (APL) list. The conferring of this UC APL status validates that NIKSUN's NikOS Everest cyber security products are tested and approved for use in government operational networks.

"This new APL status for our cyber security technology attests to NIKSUN's stature in the industry as a provider of solid, proven, and innovative technology that works," stated Dr. Parag Pruthi, NIKSUN Founder and CEO. "NIKSUN's nearly twenty years of decorated history continues to demonstrate its value as we seek to provide customers with a deep, time-tested knowledge warehouse, an innovative yet stable and secure product line, and a unique know-how for design and delivery that only comes with experience."

He continued, "We set out to revolutionize the way cyber threats are discovered, exposed, and mitigated and we have done just that. We are very pleased that our products and solutions have passed the U.S. government's stringent testing and are now on its Approved Products List. This is a testament to the relentless vision and hard work we've committed ourselves to create the best products in the world."

The UC Approved Products List is a single consolidated list of products that have received Interoperability (IO) and information assurance (IA) certification from the U.S. government after meeting their stringent testing requirements. Among the Approved Products, NIKSUN's Supreme Eagle provides zero-loss full-packet capture and an industry-first capability to securely operate up to and exceeding 100 Gbps network speeds. This ground-breaking appliance also uses 60 percent less power consumption and 80 percent less rack space in comparison to current industry solutions while still handling Big Data traffic with 15 times more processing power. NIKSUN's NetDetector is the world's first packet-capture-to-disk appliance for cyber security. NetDetectorLive is the only solution that integrates packet capture, metadata generation, real-time indexing up to Layer 7, IDS (signature and anomaly), malware analytics, and much more. NIKSUN's NetOmni provides a holistic view that works across a network of networks providing a single unified view end-to-end.

Deploying Supreme Eagle, NetDetector, and NetOmni enables customers to inspect, retrieve, and troubleshoot threat and malware data and then patch, protect, and defend critical infrastructure. With this APL validation, NIKSUN is poised to assist both governments and enterprises in preventing malicious network activity, ensuring a secure national cyber-infrastructure.
